Our platform applications and data are hosted in an enterprise-class environment with the highest levels of availability, recovery, security, and responsiveness. This environment meets all key industry certifications and undergoes regular onsite and remote audits, plus performance monitoring and penetration testing. It is a fully redundant, highly available configuration that is certified to ensure the highest levels of uptime, with enhanced managed services to ensure our mission-critical applications are always up and running at optimum levels.
We understand the special responsibilities that come with handling confidential consumer data, so one of our top priorities is to ensure that our technology safeguards customer data. Our hosting environment obtains an annual SOC-2; Type 2 Service Auditor’s Report and undergoes quarterly Payment Card Industry compliance scanning. There are seven levels of physical access security and 24/7 monitoring by onsite data security services to identify potential problems and remediate issues. Annual code application scans, regular third party audits and HLP’s own full-time security staff offers additional layers of protection.
HLP utilizes the expertise of highly qualified vendors to provide critical services, such as HOSTING who manages the HLP technical infrastructure. This enables HLP to benefit from the insights of industry leaders who battle security threats full-time each day.
In addition to protecting data, HLP’s technology is set up to always be available to our users. Our system is fully redundant, meaning that all systems and data are identically mirrored between the primary and back-up data sites. This capability enables HLP to provide uninterrupted service, which means the portal is available nearly 100 percent of the time. It also provides for seamless business continuity and disaster recovery needs.
We live in a 24/7 world and want our customers to be able to access our system whenever they need it. While most of our business is conducted during standard weekday business hours, we also support the efforts of counselors and mortgage companies working nights and weekends.
Compliance with the Highest Standards
HLP meets the vendor requirements as an approved technology-solution provider for our mortgage servicer and financial institution customers. Since these companies are subject to audits by CFPB, OCC and other regulators to ensure compliance with FFIEC (Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council) information technology standards, they regularly audit HLP for compliance. We complete more than 20 such in-depth audits and reviews annually and are committed to maintaining a platform and environment that meets all regulatory compliance expectations.
